Quality laboratory spectro analysis

Consistent chemistry, every time.

  • Spectro-analysis per heatOptical emission spectrometry validates every element before ingot casting is approved.
  • Surface & gauge inspectionEvery circle, sheet and plate is checked for gauge consistency, surface finish and flatness before dispatch.
  • Batch traceabilityEach bundle carries a heat number traceable to source scrap, melt log and test certificate.
  • Certified conformityMaterial test certificates issued against IS, JIS and customer standards with every dispatch, across ingots, circles and sheets & plates.
  • Third-party inspection welcomeIndependent inspection agencies are accommodated on request, before dispatch.

Four checkpoints. No exceptions.

01

Incoming raw material inspection

Scrap is graded by alloy family and visually screened for contaminants before it enters the furnace charge.

02

In-process monitoring

Melt temperature, fluxing and degassing are tracked through the heat, with chemistry corrected in real time.

03

Final batch testing

Spectro-analysis on ingots. Gauge, flatness and surface finish checks on circles, sheets and plates. Nothing is approved for dispatch until it clears.

04

Dispatch documentation

Every consignment ships with a heat/batch number and material test certificate, fully traceable back to source.

Quality Management System — process-driven, batch-tested
IS / JIS / BS / DIN / ASTM — alloy standard compliance
MTC — Material Test Certificate, every dispatch

Quality, answered.

What testing does Shubham Metal perform on every batch?

Every heat of ingots is verified by optical emission spectrometry before casting is approved. Every batch of circles, sheets and plates is checked for gauge consistency, surface finish and flatness before dispatch. Each bundle carries a heat number traceable to source scrap, melt log and test certificate.

Do you provide material test certificates (MTC)?

Yes. A material test certificate is issued against IS, JIS or customer-specified standards with every dispatch, across all four product lines: aluminium alloy ingots, aluminium ingots, circles and sheets & plates.

What is the difference between primary and secondary aluminium?

Primary aluminium is smelted directly from bauxite ore and typically exceeds 99% purity. Secondary aluminium is produced by remelting industrial scrap, using up to 95% less energy than primary production while meeting equivalent purity and chemistry standards for die-casting and rolling applications.

What standards do Shubham Metal's products meet?

Products are manufactured and certified to Indian and international standards including IS, JIS, BS, DIN and ASTM, depending on the alloy grade and customer requirement.
